Doesn’t it feel great to recycle?  Save those little bits and pieces of Softflex Beading Wire and use them to make beautiful jewelry!  Becky shows you how to make gorgeous earrings, bracelets and necklaces from pieces of Softflex that might otherwise end up in the trash bin.  Basic beading skills are needed for this workshop.

These gorgeous doughnuts are woven with seed beads using fast and easy Peyote stitch.  Use them alone as pendants, as a pair for earrings…or connect 5 or 6 together to form this elegant bracelet.  Faith shows you how to use one of the doughnuts to create your own matching toggle.  If you want  to learn how to do a circular Peyote stitch, this is the class for you!

Learn how to make your own clasps in this fun class, suitable for beginning silver smiths.  Angela shows you how to form clasps from sterling silver wire using techniques such as sawing, forging, filing and sanding.  Learn how to perform basic silver soldering, using a crème brulee torch, then finish your pieces by sanding and polishing.

Make a beautiful copper pendant embellished with a zodiac design in this fun beginning silver smith class.  Use a disc cutting punch to create a copper disc from sheet metal, then form your disc into a perfect dome, using a dapping block.  Next, create a zodiac symbol from copper wire and solder it onto your pendant.

Create a traditionally knotted pearl bracelet on silk, tying a knot between each pearl and finishing by attaching a clasp using French wire.  Then learn how to make a “floating pearl” necklace with knotted pearls and exposed silk thread, finishing with bead tips to attach a clasp.
